The day after having explored the island by bike, it was time for me to check out the surrounding underwater world. Whilst diving in the Komodo National Park was definitely a highlight, we didn’t see turtles then, something I was anticipating when diving in Indonesia.
Like in Flores, all dive prices are fixed across Gili Air, so I chose the dive operator I felt most comfortable with: Blue Marine, an established dive school on the north-eastern part of the island. With me were two lovely girls, Sara and Holly, and we all buddied up with our local dive master (whose name I once again forgot!).
