Westbound across Flores

We are currently in Bajawa, a small town in the middle of the island of Flores, a 7 hour bus ride from Moni and another 10 hour bus ride to Labuan Bajo, the capital of Flores. We left Moni in the morning two days ago and drove west through ever so bendy roads but past beautiful landscape and arrived in the late afternoon, tired and hungry, and soon after having checked into our guesthouse found us some food in a nearby restaurant.

Hotel Elisabeth, our guesthouse, run by 2 16 year old girls who don’t speak one word in English. It can be a bit frustrating at times.
