Tri-coloured lakes of Mount Kilimatu and village life in and around Moni, Flores

Early get up for us to catch the flight to Ende, Flores at 6:50 am. On the flight, we met Dutch couple Werner & Charlotte, who offered us a ride to Moni, as they had arranged a driver for their 10 days on Flores. First impressions of Flores where that the landscape is a lot more hilly, with the flora being less tropical than Bali, houses look a lot more simple and people are darker skinned. The other big difference is once again religion, as Flores is a predominantly Christian island, with lots of crosses and Jesus signs everywhere.
